We are a community of believers working to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of teachers, students, coaches, and athletes. Join us on Wednesday mornings in the Auditorium!
Past challenges include building a workable maze, an animal mashup species, and our free build challenge! If you have what it takes to build a Lego creation in an hour and a half after school, then this club is for you! We meet in January!
Join us twice a year for the hunting and fishing book club! Students will read a novel of their choice by author, Lane Walker. They learn about various careers in the outdoorsman field, and participate in a field trip to Playcard Environmental Education Center at the end of the year!
National Beta’s central motivation is the success of our students. The collaborative, community effort of members, sponsors, educators, administrators, parents, and supporters from around the corner and across the globe ensures Beta continues to make a difference in the lives of students and the schools and communities in which they live.
Students and educators are the fundamental force of our organization.

Archery is an engaging and skillful sport that involves shooting arrows at a target with a bow. It requires focus, precision, and control, making it an excellent activity for developing concentration and patience in kids. Learning archery can also improve hand-eye coordination and physical strength. It teaches discipline and perseverance, as consistent practice is needed to improve skills. Please see Miss Hall or Mr. Hawthorne if you are interested in archery.
The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body. Each student has an opportunity to run for a student council position in their grade-level.
Aynor Middle School has been chosen to start the first Agriculture class in middle school in Horry County. Currently, classes are offered at each grade level, 6-8. The course is designed to introduce all the different careers available in agriculture to students earlier in their education so that they can make career choices that interest them. Some topics that will be introduced include natural resources such as water, soil, air, forestry, wildlife, state and national parks and the importance of protecting those. The animal and plant industries will also be introduced as well. Advances in technology in agriculture and ag mechanics will also be taught. Agribusiness and research principles will also be covered. Leadership will be taught and of course FFA will be an integral part of the curriculum. Students will have the opportunity to participate in local and state FFA competitions.
