The following were selected to perform with the All-County Orchestra this year: Joey Skipper, Joey O’Neil, Bethany Odom, Grace Dollar and Mariah Klein.
The following students were selected to perform with the All-County Band this year: Danielle Spencer, Mariah Klein, and Tina Searcy.
Danielle Spencer and Tina Searcy made the All-Region Band this year encompassing Horry, Georgetown, Berkely, Marion, Florence, Marlboro, Clarendon, Chesterfield, Darlington, and Sumter Counties. This is a big honor and we are very proud.
Congratulations to 7th grader Danielle Spencer who was named as the first alternate for the All-State Band. This is the first student we have EVER had in Aynor Middle School or high school history to make All-State band. She will attend the clinic, rehearse with the band, and if one clarinet player does not show up, she will be performing with the All-State band on the concert. The clinic is March 9-11th 2012 at Furman University in Greenville, SC. The concert is Sunday, March 11th at 4 pm.
